Lincoln County Sheriff’s Report: February 28, 2022
As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, February 28:
A Rhenish man, 19, was arrested on a Oneida County warrant following a traffic stop on USH 51 near County Rd. D Thursday afternoon. The man was also cited for driving a motor vehicle while suspended and for not having insurance.
Deputies and the Tomahawk Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the town of Bradley on Thursday evening. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.
A 39-year-old woman from South Elgin, Illinois, and an 18-year-old woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries following a car crash on USH 51 near Pope Rd. in the city from Merrill Thursday night.
A 34-year-old Marathon woman was arrested for a first motor vehicle offense while intoxicated early Friday morning following a traffic stop on USH 51 near of County Rd. Q in the town of Scott.
MPs responded to six vehicles in the ditch and two property accidents during Thursday’s snowfall.

Deputies responded to a vehicle rollover on USH 51 near Lincoln Dr. Saturday afternoon. No injuries were reported.
A Madison woman, 25, was arrested and cited for going 91 MPH on USH 51 near County Rd. S early Sunday morning.
An 18-year-old Wausau man was arrested and cited for going 82 MPH on State Rd. 17 near Lecks Ln. in the town of Schley on Sunday evening.
An 18-year-old Tomahawk man was arrested and cited for going 109 MPH on USH 51 near County Rd. D in the town of Bradley on Sunday night.
